Rik Zak

Rik Zak is the Chairman of the Calgary branch of the Honan Shaolin Association. He was born in 1951, and in 1976 he and his wife Rita moved to New York City, where he met Shifu Woo Chai Meng and began his decades-long journey as one of his senior disciples. Rik is also a creative director at Schroeder Inc., a New York brand development firm, a filmmaker, and a Professor Emeritus at the Alberta University of the Arts, where he served for years as Chair and Head of the Visual Communications Program.
